Speaker A:You could tell he automatically go in the motor.
Speaker A:I'm sorry, I'm hollering.
Speaker B:Nah, you said I was calm.
Speaker B:I'm just like, man, this is a calm before the storm, man.
Speaker B:For real, for real.
Speaker A:I like to get rained on, not peed on.
Speaker A:But rain don't, uh.
Speaker B:Oh, let me know.
Speaker A:Hey, I'm joking.
Speaker A:We ain't in Dubai, y'.
Speaker A:All stop playing.
Speaker B:You said you like to sing.
Speaker B:New Edition can't stand the rain, so lay your head.
Speaker A:No, I'm just playing.
Speaker B:That's a great song.
Speaker B:I think we crazy.
Speaker A:That was Shout out to Adrian Marcil with Tony.
Speaker A:Tony, Tony.
Speaker A:But listen, I was excited to have you, first of all.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker A:I just seen your butt mo better party.
Speaker A:Talk about one of the best hosts I ever seen in motion.
Speaker B:Oh, thank you.
Speaker A:You are comedy.
Speaker B:Oh, good look.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker B:Thank you so much.
Speaker B:I really appreciate that.
Speaker A:What's your sign?
Speaker B:I'm a Leo.
Speaker A:What's your birthday?
Speaker B:August 13th.
Speaker A:I'm the 19th.
Speaker A:No.
Speaker B:Okay, let me know.
Speaker B:That's my cousin birthday.
Speaker A:I don't wonder.
Speaker A:You a little rattled.
Speaker A:Cause I'm.
Speaker B:We be everywhere sometime for sure.
Speaker A:Sometimes all the time and thoughts we be like.
Speaker A:But this is the thing about us.
Speaker A:We know how to get in motion.
Speaker A:We know how to read a room facts.
Speaker A:We know how to act accordingly in multiple different spaces.
Speaker A:I sure can and are a chameleonaire.
Speaker A:For example, like, now you.
Speaker A:As you're sitting here chilling, as soon as that thing came on, you instantly.
Speaker A:What's up?
Speaker A:What's up?
Speaker A:106 Just came out of your body.
Speaker A:Like you was ready.
Speaker B:Nah, I was ready.
Speaker B:I mean, I'm always ready for the moment.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:One of the things I was talking to somebody about is that I think it was the Du Bois name.
Speaker B:Is that like, some people are just natural.
Speaker B:I'm not gonna say like stars, but some people have, like, natural charisma or aura, whatever people wanna say.
Speaker A:And you ain't the host on 106, the number one leading in the Bay Area radio station.
Speaker B:But some people don't got it.
Speaker B:But then, you know, they could just.
Speaker B:They could just talk about it.
Speaker B:My bad.
Speaker B:I'm sorry, but no, I appreciate you.
Speaker A:No, I put my head down because you're spitting a true statement.
Speaker B:And I don't even want to camera.
Speaker A:On the people that ain't got it.
Speaker B:They don't have it in real life.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:They either, whatever, you know what I mean, but they just don't.
Speaker B:You be like everybody like you.
Speaker B:I'm not.
Speaker B:Let me stop hating.
Speaker A:I'll put my head down.
Speaker A:So speaking of that, Wash your back.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Which is your podcast.
Speaker A:I need to be on there.
Speaker A:I'm always speaking to the mic.
Speaker B:I got you.
Speaker A:I have the personality.
Speaker B:Yeah, you do.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker B:Definitely.
Speaker B:You do.
Speaker B:For sure.
Speaker B:I gotta get you every time I get interviewed, which is, you know, I get interviewed probably a couple of times, but I always extend that other hand.
Speaker B:Yes, I do have you on that thing, for sure.
Speaker A:I'm doing 106.
Speaker A:I think before I even met you, we talked a couple times on the phone.
Speaker A:I didn't bug Joe, but I think shout out to Barbara Dame and Chef Oo wee.
Speaker A:My boys link me up with you.
Speaker A:But I was excited to have you because one wash your back podcast, I want to be on there.
Speaker A:But when you say, oh, my God, I want to holler literally so loud where my freaking lungs hop out of my body.
Speaker A:When you say people don't have it, like, what do you mean by that?
Speaker A:Like, because to me, I ain't going.
Speaker A:I ain't going to hold you.
Speaker A:I feel like Dr. Stanson set the bar.
Speaker A:You know, me watching people doing the podcast and I gotta tap into yours.
Speaker A:But me watching people doing the podcast, a lot of people are starting it a lot don't have the charisma.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:What do we do?
Speaker B:I mean, I try to just lean on.
Speaker B:What I do is I try to lean on conversation when I say it, I kind of like, mean.
Speaker B:Like when some people walk into the room, they kind of like stand out.
Speaker B:They take over.
Speaker B:Like, I like Big Von when he walk into the room, he got a presence about himself.
Speaker B:He come in even.
Speaker B:We used to have Mo Better Laurent party.
Speaker B:Ronski party.
Speaker B:Shout out.
Speaker B:Happy birthday.
Speaker B:Happy belated.
Speaker A:Happy birthday.
Speaker A:Mo Better.
Speaker B:He got a presence about him.
Speaker A:He do.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:He do.
Speaker B:And so some people just don't got that it factor.
Speaker B:Some people aren't People, persons.
Speaker B:So it's like you be like, damn, it's a trip.
Speaker B:A lot of DJs are like that sometimes.
Speaker B:A lot of on air talents are like that.
Speaker B:You know, there's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker A:No, it's not.
Speaker A:Just stay in your lane.
Speaker B:It's just a trip.
Speaker A:Just stay in your lane.
Speaker A:That's true.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's true.
Speaker B:That's true.
Speaker A:Because you're gonna waste money and industry time.
Speaker B:Industry time.
Speaker B:And then you wasting a lot of people time and then resource.
Speaker B:I don't know how far people go into it, but sometimes people just do it for the look, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:Like, they don't do it for the love.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So as long as you're doing it for the love, I think that's all that matters.
Speaker A:Love.
Speaker A:And the most important is you have to invest in yourself, facts.
Speaker A:You know what I mean?
Speaker A:This is just from my own personal experience.
Speaker A:Me want to even start this platform.
Speaker A:And I'm sure you probably can relate.
Speaker A:We're branding, right?
Speaker A:Branding is everything.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:If you just throw it out there, people don't take you seriously.
Speaker A:They kind of look at you like, this part, this ain't crazy.
Speaker A:This look a mess.
Speaker A:But when you take the time to brand, like even 106 cameo, the branding is better.
Speaker A:I know.
Speaker A:It fell off the map for a while.
Speaker A:What happened?
Speaker B:Am I saying that wrong?
Speaker B:I wasn't there.
Speaker B:I wasn't there for a while.
Speaker B:So I've been radio like 20 years now.
Speaker A:Really.
Speaker B:And so I started at Camille on the street team and then I've been in.
Speaker B:I've worked at KBLX.
Speaker B:I worked at a sports talk radio 95.
Speaker B:7.
Speaker B:I'm actually the voice for the morning show.
Speaker B:I do the opening credits.
Speaker B:I didn't know that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:On 95.7 the game.
Speaker B: Even though I still work at: Speaker B:So I worked at.
Speaker B:What's the other one?
Speaker B:The throwback Q102.
Speaker B:Worked there.
Speaker B:So like, I've been in radio for a while now.
Speaker A:But how did you get in?
Speaker B:Like, I got, man, I got in.
Speaker B:It's crazy.
Speaker B:Got in through a street team.
Speaker B:It just through the street team.
Speaker B:I got in, applied, went online, sent in a little resume.
Speaker B:They hit me two weeks later.
Speaker B:I was juiced.
Speaker B:I went in for an interview.
Speaker B:They was like, where would you take the Cameo street team van if you had it?
Speaker B:And they was like, oh, I would take it.
Speaker B:I said I would take it to Great America or something like that.
Speaker B:So they had Little corny questions and stuff.
Speaker B:I did good.
Speaker B:I told them I'd take it to the hood, take it to Fillmore, Safeway.
Speaker B:And that was actually one of the spots that they would hit up.
Speaker B:Back in the day with radio, you had street teams.
Speaker B:Street teams had zip codes that they were hit up because these zip codes were the places where they getting the most traction, the most spins, the most recognizable.
Speaker B:Our job on the street team was to be the face of the station.
Speaker A:Got it.
Speaker B:So I'll tell you a story later or what I think was hurting.
Speaker B:Street teams, It's a cluster now.
Speaker B:So like I was on the street team.
Speaker B:You had a 94.9street team.
Speaker B:Even though we was in the same building, you had a 98.1 kiss.
Speaker B:Remember kiss?
Speaker A:FFM.
Speaker B:They had a street team.
Speaker B:So you.
Speaker B:You.
Speaker B:You applied for your.
Speaker B:Where you wanted to go.
Speaker B:Now it's one cluster.
Speaker B:You just apply for iHeartradio.
Speaker B:So now you got some.
Speaker B:You got one street team and they represent camp.
Speaker B:They'll go put on some cameo shirts or we cameo.
Speaker B:But they culture really not cameo.
Speaker B:They put on the 94.9shirts.
Speaker B:They got 94.9shirts, but they culture may not be 94.9.
Speaker A:So that's when it went.
Speaker B:It kind of went down on the street team level, on the presence.
Speaker B:But then the funding went away.
Speaker B:So it's like a lot of money went away.
Speaker A:But the fund, who funds it?
Speaker B:I mean, it's iHeartRadio, it's radio, so you know, it's commercials.
Speaker B:Got it.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker B:Commercials, advertisements, stuff like that.
Speaker B:Iheart used to be Clear channel.
Speaker A:I didn't know that as well.
Speaker B:You didn't know that?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You learn something every day.
Speaker B:I do.
Speaker B:Nah.
Speaker B:But back to the street, I mean, you guys probably don't care, but the street team.
Speaker B:We care.
Speaker B:We care.
Speaker B:It's hella interesting just on the fact that everybody's not like.
Speaker B:Also to this point.
Speaker B:My bad for.
Speaker B:Keep hitting the mic, Percy.
Speaker B:I know how it is.
Speaker A:Shout out to Percy.
Speaker B:That's big money.
Speaker B:Straight up.
Speaker B:Nah.
Speaker B:But also what happens is we used to get paid for free.
Speaker B:We was actual interns.
Speaker A:Wait, how do you get paid for free?
Speaker A:Explain this.
Speaker A:Please explain this.
Speaker B:Great question.
Speaker A:Please explain this to the people.
Speaker B:You can't get paid for free.
Speaker A:For free.
Speaker B:We didn't get paid.
Speaker B:We were interns.
Speaker B:We worked for free.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker B:We got experience within the business.
Speaker B:You feel me?
Speaker B:So we got exposure.
Speaker B:Some people took it and ran when it shot.
Speaker A:Priceless.
Speaker B:Yeah, very priceless.
Speaker B:But my point was you had to do it and then in order to get paid, you had to work 20 hours a week at least to become a van driver.
Speaker B:Once you became a van driver, then you start getting some money.
Speaker B:So like, shout out to Box Kevin dc, Shay Diddy.
Speaker B:Some people that went through the ranks.
Speaker B:G Biz.
Speaker A:G Biz.
Speaker A:Shout out to bj.
Speaker B:Hella people, bro.
Speaker B:That's in radio.
Speaker B:Hella people.
Speaker B:I put on, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:DJ Black Mark.
Speaker B:I put Shay Diddy on.
Speaker A:Really?
Speaker B:Not like that, but Shay Diddy.
Speaker B:I was on the street team.
Speaker B:Shay Diddy.
Speaker B:I was a van driver at this time.
Speaker B:Shay Diddy was like.
Speaker B:She was at City, I think, or finna go to Cal Berkeley.
Speaker B:I'm like, what you doing, Shay?
Speaker B:She was like, I ain't doing nothing.
Speaker B:I'm doing this or doing.
Speaker B:She was doing something.
Speaker B:And we was at the club, some club up there by Sound Factory.
Speaker B:Then I was like, why don't you come work for the street team?
Speaker B:She applied history ever since.
Speaker B:Second Black Petey at Iheart or Claire Channel, whatever you want.
Speaker B:Or 106.1 cameo.
Speaker B:Stacey Cunningham was the first.
Speaker B:And then Shay Diddy right now.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker B:Shout out to her.
Speaker A:Shout out to her.
Speaker B:So I'll be proud.
Speaker B:I'm proud of Big sis.
Speaker A:I like that.
Speaker B:For real?
Speaker B:For real.
Speaker B:Definitely, definitely.
Speaker A:So this is my thing.
Speaker A:When you got into the media and radio, I know you've interviewed a lot of people, right.
Speaker A:Who was your favorite guest?
Speaker B:Oh, man.
Speaker A:Besides me up and coming?
Speaker B:That's a great question.
Speaker B:Kevin Gates.
Speaker B:Kevin Gates was good.
Speaker B:Well, I don't really have like.
Speaker B:Cause again, when I do my interviews, I just try to have a conversation because really what I'm learning is people care about the music and the stuff, but they really care about you as a person.
Speaker A:Correct.
Speaker B:They really don't care about when your album dropping because we don't know.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Like when I hear the music, I hear the music.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:Your inner core fans will.
Speaker B:Don't get me twisted.
Speaker B:Your inner core fans will.
Speaker B:And that's why you.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker B:That's why you have random guests to see who hidden and who not.
Speaker B:You feel me?
Speaker B:Because your fans go look up and see what is Philmo Mike talking about or what is B. Legit talking about?
Speaker B:Be Legit was a great interview.
Speaker B:Big Rich was a great interview.
Speaker B:Troy Telly Mack was a great interview.
Speaker B:Who else was a great interview.
Speaker A:Who was your last one?
Speaker B:My last interview.
Speaker B:Op was good.
Speaker A:Op was here.
Speaker B:Shout out to op.
Speaker B:Got op.
Speaker B:I put OP on.
Speaker A:Really?
Speaker B:I put OP on, man.
Speaker B:That's my guy.
Speaker B:So not.
Speaker B:Not again.
Speaker B:Not.
Speaker B:I don't.
Speaker B:I don't mean to take it like that, but like, he was.
Speaker B:He was working it.
Speaker A:Take it like that.
Speaker B:Let me take it like that.
Speaker B:Then take it.
Speaker B:Take that.
Speaker A:This is a pg.
Speaker B:And Nate, I forgot, you trying to be Claire Huxtable.
Speaker A:I am Claire Huxtable.
Speaker B:You guys, we had a sexy red moment.
Speaker A:Look at the.
Speaker A:We going viral for real.
Speaker A:No, no, but take credit.
Speaker A:I mean, it's not a bad thing to.
Speaker A:That actually is a good thing to put you on, cuz I guarantee if OP say here, he going to say my shout out to my guy.
Speaker A:He put me.
Speaker A:You know what I mean?
Speaker B:That's straight up.
Speaker A:Yeah, he a real one.
Speaker A:I love you.
Speaker A:Shout out to op.
Speaker A:Actually, I just talked to him the other day, so shout out to him.
Speaker A:He got me.
Speaker A:Adrian Marcel.
Speaker B:He got you Adrian Marcel.
Speaker B:You going to his event?
Speaker A:Yeah, I am going to go.
Speaker A:We going to go.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:For sure.
Speaker B:We going.
Speaker A:We going.
Speaker B:I'm going to your event too.
Speaker A:When is mine?
Speaker A:February 13th.
Speaker B:Come on, man, stop playing psych.
Speaker B:I'm gonna be in Columbia and he's.
Speaker A:Going to see all those exotic women.
Speaker A:He's super excited about that.
Speaker A:You should have seen his face when.
Speaker B:I heard he was happier than me.
Speaker B:Percy's like, take me, Percy.
Speaker B:Mary.
Speaker B:My bad, cuz.
Speaker A:Hell no, Percy ain't married.
Speaker A:I was trying to get Percy out in the streets.
Speaker A:He went to.
Speaker A:It was an event yesterday.
Speaker A:Where.
Speaker A:Where you was at?
Speaker B:I've been so busy.
Speaker B:I swear I've been busy.
Speaker B:I gotta tell you about my other hustle.
Speaker B:I got.
Speaker A:Let's talk about that.
Speaker A:What we got?
Speaker B:I do solar.
Speaker B:I do solar for some reason.
Speaker B:So I set people up.
Speaker A:That was my next question.
Speaker A:Who is Mike?
Speaker A:Tell the people we know you from Fillmore shout out to San Francisco.
Speaker A:But who are you on a daily basis?
Speaker A:You got kids?
Speaker A:Wait, stop.
Speaker A:Are you single?
Speaker B:I'm single, man.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:That's why he acts a fool.
Speaker A:Talking about sexy rant moment.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:Bless this man.
Speaker B:I need to find somebody, though.
Speaker A:Well, you're a man, so yes, you definitely find.
Speaker A:Well, you're going to Columbia.
Speaker B:You might get a. I'm not bringing nothing home.
Speaker B:Oh, cool.
Speaker B:I heard Hurry's horror Story.
Speaker A:Don't listen to that.
Speaker B:They just try to get the passport or try to get the visa.
Speaker A:Don't think that I had a foreigner.
Speaker B:I had a foreigner, but honestly, I wanna.
Speaker B:I want a black queen.
Speaker B:Though I wanna.
Speaker B:I wanna.
Speaker B:I wanna black.
Speaker A:Can you say that to that, Cameron?
Speaker A:No offense to nobody, but I'm just.
Speaker B:Saying I want a black queen, man.
Speaker B:Staying.
Speaker A:Y' all stay with your people.
Speaker B:Nobody's never black.
Speaker B:Queens forever.
Speaker A:I didn't say.
Speaker B:The Cosbys.
Speaker B:Black Families Matter.
Speaker A:It ain't too many of them.
Speaker A:So you ain't lying?
Speaker B:Straight up.
Speaker A:Wait, you got kids?
Speaker B:I don't.
Speaker B:I don't.
Speaker B:I want to be a father, though.
Speaker A:You're a kid.
Speaker A:How old are you?
Speaker B:You know, people call me Daddy, but I'm not a father yet.
Speaker A:This one ain't got no sense.
Speaker A:I think you gonna be one of my favorite interviews.
Speaker A:How old is you, nut?
Speaker B:I'm 40.
Speaker B:And Raider, you're not supposed to tell your true age.
Speaker A:I'm 43.
Speaker B:I'm 39.
Speaker B:My radio age is 39.
Speaker B:My real age is 41.
Speaker A:Okay, so you Young Leo.
Speaker A:Gang.
Speaker A:Gang.
Speaker A:I like it.
Speaker A:Well, you wanna get married?
Speaker B:Yes, I do wanna get married.
Speaker B:I do wanna get.
Speaker B:Eventually I wanna find the right one, though.
Speaker B:It ain't like I wanna get married at that.
Speaker B:But see, the thing is, that was messed up about being the age that I am now.
Speaker B:You missed that journey.
Speaker B:What the journey is, the process is the funnest part.
Speaker B:When you look back like, damn, we really did.
Speaker B:We went through all that.
Speaker A:We still young.
Speaker B:What'?
Speaker A:We are young.
Speaker B:Oh, man, I lived a lot.
Speaker A:I lived a lot.
Speaker A:Okay, let me ask you.
Speaker A:Do you think you are the best version of yourself right now?
Speaker A:41?
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker B:For surely.
Speaker A:And why is that?
Speaker B:First of all, let me shout out my team, Wash It Back, podcast, find it on YouTube.
Speaker B:I gotta shout my team out.
Speaker B:For real.
Speaker B:For real.
Speaker B:Cause they work hard, young aztec and Erica McGee.
Speaker B:But nah, I think I'm the best version of myself because of things like that.
Speaker B:I show gratitude.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:I try to be more focused, be more serious.
Speaker B:A lot of times, like, coming up, I'm known for kind of like, saying whatever.
Speaker B:Like, that's kind of like, that's Leo.
Speaker A:We have that problem.
Speaker A:Very, very.
Speaker A:We're all messed up.
Speaker A:And it takes a very special person to deal with us.
Speaker A:But I'm gonna say this and fix my glasses on my face.
Speaker A:I think that.
Speaker A:Do you get sometimes that people say you just too much?
Speaker A:Like, yeah, calm down, Michael.
Speaker A:You too much.
Speaker A:So what I say is they just not enough.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:Facts.
Speaker A:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Because I can feel your energy and your personality.
Speaker A:You are bubbly now.
Speaker A:It makes sense when I see you hosting and you lit.
Speaker A:Now it all makes sense.
Speaker A:But don't change.
Speaker A:Your wife is going to come.
Speaker A:You going to have kids.
Speaker A:To me, you're still young.
Speaker B:Yes, ma'.
Speaker A:Am.
Speaker A:We got a life ahead of us, so don't change who you are.
Speaker A:You are crazier than the road Lizard, though.
Speaker A:I definitely know that because I am, too.
Speaker A:So it's not a bad thing.
Speaker B:Just let them know.
Speaker A:But I want to, like, who is Mike, though?
Speaker B:Okay, so Mike is.
Speaker B:That's a great question.
Speaker B:I like how you said that.
Speaker A:Thank you so much.
Speaker B:I be making jokes sometime.
Speaker B:I'll be like, when I'm corporate is Fillmore Michael.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker B:Excuse me stupid, but nah, Mike, Michael, Michael, Mike.
Speaker B:I don't really go by Mike no more.
Speaker B:When I address people, like on a corporate level, I say Michael.
Speaker B:And I used to name drop a lot, but I think it's power in not doing that.
Speaker B:Say, oh, I feel my mic.
Speaker B:I try to wait.
Speaker B:Sometimes they make her recognize your voice.
Speaker B:You know, it's just a different approach.
Speaker B:But Mike, nah.
Speaker B:I got a 9 to 5.
Speaker B:I work for Sunrun.
Speaker B:Basically.
Speaker A:Solar.
Speaker B:That's right, yeah.
Speaker B:Do solar.
Speaker B:It's more so about batteries, though, than solar.
Speaker B:And so basically what we do is we're trying to create distributed power plants.
Speaker B:So I basically go door to door letting homeowners know that they could be a part of a distributed power plant in which it's zero cost to install, maintain their solar and their batteries.
Speaker B:So, like, if you're.
Speaker A:When you say batteries, what you mean like Tesla batteries?
Speaker B:Because without the batteries, solar means nothing.
Speaker B:Because when the sun goes down, you're tapping back onto the grid.
Speaker A:Got it.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:So when you have the batteries at nighttime, you're sucking energy from your battery.
Speaker B:You're not tapping into the grid.
Speaker A:I did.
Speaker A:I didn't know nothing about that.
Speaker A:They've been trying to get me to get that solar.
Speaker A:I haven't had the time, but I need to get it.
Speaker B:Well, you're gonna get it now.
Speaker A:Up with this.
Speaker A:God bless.
Speaker A:God bless.
Speaker B:My job.
Speaker B:No, my job is more so of a consultant.
Speaker B:I like to consult people, let them know I'm not going to sell everybody.
Speaker B:If it's not for you, it's not for you.
Speaker B:But I tell people a lot of times, if you give me 10, 15 minutes of your time.
Speaker B:Let me explain what this is, because you hear a lot of craziness, right?
Speaker B:You can get it, but if you don't allow me that time, if you think you know it all right, you won't get it.
Speaker B:But give me that time so I can explain it.
Speaker B:You ain't gonna pay nothing up front.
Speaker B:Are you gonna be doing this saying Instead of paying PJ&E this much, you're gonna be paying Sunrun with your batteries and solar this much?
Speaker A:Well, I know that you don't is zeroed down, but what's the overall cost?
Speaker A:Like talk to the people like.
Speaker A:Cause the reason why I haven't got it yet one is my time.
Speaker A:I just ain't took the time to like get all into it cause I got so much going on.
Speaker A:But people automatically assume, you know, maybe they gonna run your credit or maybe, you know, it's a built in future debt got you.
Speaker A:And some people may not want that debt because I know the overall cost is what, 20, 30,000, right?
Speaker B:That's a great question.
Speaker B:And a lot of people don't realize that you don't put anything up, you don't pay for this, you're paying for your power, the energy that you use.
Speaker B:So it's called a power purchase agreement.
Speaker B:Oh, right, yes.
Speaker B:And so it's not a lease or lien.
Speaker B:It doesn't put anything against your home.
Speaker B:We actually own the panels and it's system, we take care of it.
Speaker B:It's our baby.
Speaker B:So if something happens to the panels, we take care of it.
Speaker B:Something happens to your roof, we make sure we ensure that for a number of amount of years, 10 years more than the industry standard, which is about two years.
Speaker B:And so you don't have to worry about that.
Speaker B:Also you don't have to put nothing down.
Speaker B:A lot of people say do I have to put it that's.
Speaker A:They go by your credit though, right?
Speaker B:Most people are pre approved when it comes to that.
Speaker A:Do they run the social, Mike?
Speaker B:No, no, they don't run the social when they have to.
Speaker B:If we have to run the social, it's a soft credit check.
Speaker A:Got it.
Speaker B:You know what a soft credit check is?
Speaker A:Do I know?
Speaker B:Do you know I have multiple businesses?
Speaker A:Hello.
Speaker A:Of course I know.
Speaker A:That's why I was concerned because I didn't want nothing on it ain't gonna be nothing.
Speaker A:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Like as far as hard inquiries or just being on my credit, period.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:So let's say if I did get it and let's say it's 20,000.
Speaker A:If it's a soft credit run, does that 20,000 go on my.
Speaker B:You're looking at it wrong.
Speaker B:You're looking at it wrong.
Speaker B:Cause you show me how to look at it right.
Speaker B:You're talking about A purchase.
Speaker B:Now, if you wanted to purchase it, you can just purchase it.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:It's cash.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker B:You got the cash, you want the solar boom.
Speaker B:Who has 100,000, 60, 80,000 to spend on solar panels and batteries?
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:To pay for their energy.
Speaker B:Cool.
Speaker B:You own your energy, you own your panels.
Speaker B:That's great.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:But in 10, 15 years, when the batteries go out, you have to replace those batteries.
Speaker A:That's true.
Speaker B:So that's another investment on a depreciating asset.
Speaker B:Whereas when you do the ppa, you just pay for the energy that you consume.
Speaker B:So we, we put your rate at a lower rate than PG and E. Right.
Speaker A:What's ppa?
Speaker B:Power Purchase Agreement.
Speaker A:Got you.
Speaker B:Agreement to purchase power.
Speaker B:If you say it backwards.
Speaker A:Got you.
Speaker B:That's real talk.
Speaker B:It is real talk.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:It's an agreement to purchase power.
Speaker B:So what we do is say, for instance, you pay $500 a month for your energy.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:What I try to do is I try to get you lower than that.
Speaker B:Your average bill is 500.
Speaker B:Your high bill is 600 or $800 a month.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:Whatever.
Speaker B:What I try to do is get you down below about.
Speaker B:Say if I get you down to 375, average your highest bill with Sunrun, because you have a flex program.
Speaker B:And if you use more energy, you can tap into that energy.
Speaker B:Say for instance, it may be like 450, but your predictable bill, based on your usage for the last year and a half, you're only going to be paying at 375.
Speaker B:You're never going to see that 600 bill.
Speaker B:I mean, well, technically that's saving money.
Speaker B:It's the overall cost.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Because I think my Pjnil was insane last year.
Speaker A:I don't know if something was going on in the world.
Speaker A:They were just.
Speaker B:You got 20 seconds?
Speaker A:I got probably a minute or two because literally last year, probably the last six, seven months, I've never seen my PG and E bill so high.
Speaker A:As you know, I House over 50 foster youth and I have an accumulative of 50 apartments.
Speaker A:So it'll run from about 3,000 is normal for 50 apartments.
Speaker A:Correct.
Speaker A:Because some of the kids work, they're not there.
Speaker A: ,: Speaker A:Correct.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:For 50 apartments.
Speaker A:So in my mind I'm like, okay, something's happening, something's happening.
Speaker A:What's happening?
Speaker A:I've never seen nothing like it.
Speaker A:So I don't know, you know, what was happening.
Speaker A:Even here, this establishment like pge went from 50 bucks to 150.
Speaker A:Like what happened?
Speaker A:What is going on there?
Speaker B:Like, I need to know.
Speaker B:This energy is energy.
Speaker B:We have no more energy in California.
Speaker B:And so what's going on is you get our energy from out of state.
Speaker A:I did not know that.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's a delivery charge just to get your energy here.
Speaker B:Then they have to pay for it.
Speaker B:Then they have to pay for it through the substations transmissions.
Speaker B:They still have to pay for people.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:PGE is a privately owned organization.
Speaker A:Correct.
Speaker B:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker B:So it's not publicly, but the main gist of it is like we have no more energy in the world.
Speaker B:AI technology data centers are.
Speaker B:They're building very fast because they could build them faster and they use a lot of energy.
Speaker B:And China uses AI and these data centers.
Speaker B:It's massive.
Speaker B:It's really a thing.
Speaker B:So what's going on?
Speaker A:Oh, this is serious.
Speaker B:No, this is very serious.
Speaker A:No, this is serious.
Speaker B:No, this is very serious.
Speaker B:So I tell people all the time, if you don't want to deal with.
Speaker B:Remember what happened on Christmas in San Francisco when they had a power outage?
Speaker B:About 200,000 people were out of power for like three, four days.
Speaker A:What was the Y2K?
Speaker A:Was it or what was it?
Speaker B:It was.
Speaker B:It was San Francisco during Christmas.
Speaker B:Hella.
Speaker B:People using energy.
Speaker B:A substation blew the hell out.
Speaker A:Yes, I remember that.
Speaker B:The substation blew out and it had multiple incidents.
Speaker B:It was one in Solano or Half Moon Bay.
Speaker A:I remember that.
Speaker B:It was hexagon places.
Speaker B:So the grid is strained.
Speaker B:Our grid is over a hundred years old.
Speaker B:It's strained, it's old.
Speaker B:We've never used as much energy as we do now.
Speaker B:EV electrical vehicles, AI technology and data centers are sucking up all the energy.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And so what happens is prices are going to go up, more blackouts and brownouts are going to occur.
Speaker B: ent of Energy already said by: Speaker B:So what we're trying to do is get people off of the grid to get batteries with solar because you store energy on site, not dealing with whatever PG&E in the grid has to offer.
Speaker B:You're isolated from all that BS and you get a predictable rate.
Speaker B:And if a blackout or brownout happens, you don't have to worry about that because you have batteries.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker A:So what's with the new Ava?
Speaker A:Anybody that know have.
Speaker A:Do you know ava?
Speaker B:That's the AI technology, right?
Speaker A:No, that's another like a PG E. So now you know how to.
Speaker B:Oh, so I got you.
Speaker B:I got you.
Speaker B:So what Ava is, is that's this.
Speaker B:That's just the company that helps PG&E get the energy to you.
Speaker B:MC, Ava, they all stand for something, but they just help get energy to you.
Speaker B:It's just another form of energy.
Speaker B:So you may have Ava, you may have MC.
Speaker B:Whatever it is, you still have a PG&E charge.
Speaker B:If you look at it.
Speaker B:I can show you a bill.
Speaker B:I can show it to you.
Speaker A:I need to.
Speaker B:That's what I do.
Speaker B:I consult.
Speaker B:I consult people.
Speaker A:I appreciate you actually talking about this.
Speaker A:I definitely.
Speaker A:This is a very good episode because I did not know literally all of that.
Speaker A:I mean, we all deal with so much daily, right?
Speaker A:Life.
Speaker A:Be life.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:But I never knew on that aspect, when it comes to energy, you got.
Speaker B:To look up what we can run.
Speaker A:Out of energy based on that.
Speaker B:It could be like a third third world country.
Speaker B:If you go.
Speaker B:If you do it, have mena.
Speaker B:Do a chatgpt about how many data centers we have in the Bay Area being built right now.
Speaker B:It's the AI.
Speaker B:We're the AI capital of the world.
Speaker B:PG&E is the second highest or the highest utility in terms of rates and the most inconsistent.
Speaker B:Already.
Speaker B:Already I'm sitting here not even.
Speaker B:Not even talking about going forward, and they already predict that.
Speaker B:So we have the sun run.
Speaker B:The company that I work, we have the only collaboration with PG and E. Really?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:So we're the only solar company.
Speaker B:We're more so battery energy storage company that has a relationship with major utility companies across the country.
Speaker B:PG and E being one of the largest.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker B:And so we work with them and we get.
Speaker B:Like I said, if you're a homeowner, your PG and E bill is high.
Speaker B:You're not trying to spend 60, 70,000.
Speaker B:Also, that tax credit rebate is gone.
Speaker B:So you're not getting that 30% kickback no more.
Speaker B:So you might as well.
Speaker B:Yeah, you might as well just let me come by 15 minutes of your time, explain how the problem.
Speaker B:What the problem is and how you could be a part of the solution.
Speaker A:Not for real.
Speaker A:Cause this is actually like extremely educational because literally I had no clue about.
Speaker A:That's kind of scary.
Speaker B:It's very scary.
Speaker B:I read a book, it's called.
Speaker B:I think it's called Crazy Smart.
Speaker B:Scary Smart.
Speaker B:Scary Smart.
Speaker B:My boss, one of my mentors, shout out to Keith, he said, read Scary Smart and tells you about AI and how scary AI is scary.
Speaker A:Let me tell you, they got people.
Speaker A:They making people.
Speaker A:I Worked at Kaiser for 10 years, you know, And a lot of people probably didn't know I worked in the kitchen.
Speaker B:Okay?
Speaker A:And I stayed in the kitchen.
Speaker A:Oh, I'm a chef.
Speaker A:But that's a whole nother.
Speaker A:We can listen.
Speaker B:That's a whole nother episode.
Speaker A:I make you fat, honey.
Speaker A:I make you fat.
Speaker A:I'm going to give you high blood pressure in a good way, okay?
Speaker B:Yes, ma'.
Speaker A:Am.
Speaker A:Now, listen, listen.
Speaker A:When I worked at Kaiser, back in the day, they called it heat and serve.
Speaker A:We would get regular TV dinners, heat them up and serve them.
Speaker A:Literally for each floor, each person had a floor.
Speaker A:That's just facts.
Speaker A:This is the back end of these hospitals.
Speaker A:Now, they got it to where they created and built AI computer system that go to each floor and we'll heat the food up within and deliver the food.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Like, first of all, I get it.
Speaker A:What happens is they're eliminating jobs.
Speaker B:That's true.
Speaker A:You get what I'm saying?
Speaker A:Which is the worst, right?
Speaker A:What if, like you said, the energy in the world shuts down, which is what this is powered off of.
Speaker A:Now people won't be able to eat.
Speaker A:So to me, AI is an amazing tool.
Speaker A:It's an amazing thing.
Speaker A:It's like the first Flintstones.
Speaker A:That's what I feel like we're gonna be in the next 10 years.
Speaker A:I project the Flintstones.
Speaker A:Or no, the Jetsons.
Speaker A:The Jetsons.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:I mean, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:The Jets.
Speaker A:Yeah, the Jetsons.
Speaker B:With this book.
Speaker B:It's Jetsons.
Speaker B:Jetsons with this book.
Speaker B:It's funny you talk about that.
Speaker B:Cause he was talking about.
Speaker B:And we getting hella deep, but he was talking about how Frankenstein was a form of AI and what does that explain that, like, that was.
Speaker B:They was imagining it back then.
Speaker A:Yeah, that.
Speaker B:You feel me?
Speaker B:Put it in here.
Speaker B:And that's a form of a. AI.
Speaker B: nkenstein is what came out in: Speaker B:But they've already been thinking about it.
Speaker B:And then computers before were dumb, but now with AI, they learn from each other, and they learn so much fat.
Speaker B:They're learning at a so much faster rate.
Speaker B:It's not you humans can't even comprehend how fast they learn.
Speaker B:And so if you look at videos of AI a year ago, right, you could see them morphing.
Speaker B:You see somebody laughing, somebody turning white to Chinese.
Speaker B:You could kind of see if you get an old person, you could get them like, what's.
Speaker B:Oh, my God, what's that?
Speaker B:You feel creatures coming out the ground and stuff.
Speaker B:Now when you see AI, it's on a whole nother level.
Speaker B:They're learning.
Speaker B:They're learning.
Speaker B:They learn.
Speaker A:That's scary.
Speaker B:And they learn faster than us.
Speaker B:So I'm just getting some game.
Speaker B:I read from a book.
Speaker A:No, this is actually at least you read.
Speaker A:And hopefully you read this A Holder CEO for sure.
Speaker A:That's me.
Speaker B:Okay, let me know.
Speaker A:You know me, I'm Claire Huxtable.
Speaker A:Now I'm really working on.
Speaker A:Very classy lady.
Speaker A:Not a thug.
Speaker A:Shut up, Percy.
Speaker A:Look at his face.
Speaker A:He's stupid over there.
Speaker A:He laughing.
Speaker B:No, but the wrong way to Wall Street.
Speaker A:No facts.
Speaker A:Broadway, San Pablo, Bush, Bush Street.
Speaker A:The one way in Frisco.
Speaker B:Okay, let me.
Speaker A:One way.
Speaker A:The pimps couldn't get me that.
Speaker A:That's not too vulgar, people, but it's the truth.
Speaker A:No, but I think these topics need to be talked about.
Speaker A:I love my rappers coming on.
Speaker A:I love, you know, my foster youth coming on.
Speaker A:You know, I love different guests that come on.
Speaker A:But no one's come on and talked about the AI.
Speaker A:No one's come on and talked about the energy in the world.
Speaker A:Like I literally never.
Speaker A:I'm sure I knew it, but I never thought about it.
Speaker A:Like, you know what I mean?
Speaker B:Like regards to that.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker A:It's scary.
Speaker B:Think about this.
Speaker B:So AI is being developing all over the world.
Speaker A:You ain't supposed to answer your phone.
Speaker A:Everything Mike, you know, you're supposed to stay professional.
Speaker A:Lord have mercy.
Speaker A:We gonna keep that in the.
Speaker A:In the.
Speaker A:In the movie too.
Speaker A:What is everything we doing here we go edit that.
Speaker A:No, we ain't editing that.
Speaker B:Okay, we got us then.
Speaker B:Check this out.
Speaker B:Nah, but if you think about AI on this level, it's being developed in every country on the world, right?
Speaker B:So imagine it's unique to that country.
Speaker B:Oh, oh, so.
Speaker B:So a AI bot in Russia.
Speaker B:What you think an AI bot in Russia thinks about America versus A AI by.
Speaker B:In America thinks about Russia.
Speaker A:Back it up.
Speaker B:I'm trying to tell you.
Speaker B:It's warfare.
Speaker B:That's why AI is not going nowhere.
Speaker B:China's doing AI?
Speaker B:No, Russia.
Speaker B:Every country.
Speaker B:Uk, African nation.
Speaker A:I was just gonna say I went to Dubai last year.
Speaker A:I went to their museum.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:First of all, you ever been to Dubai?
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:I need to go.
Speaker B:Listen, man, I can't eat bacon though.
Speaker B:Sorry.
Speaker A:No, I didn't eat any of that.
Speaker B:Oh, that's beautiful.
Speaker A:No, no, no.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Shout out to.
Speaker A:No, hold on.
Speaker A:They food unfortunately was horrible.
Speaker A:That's just my experience, but.
Speaker A:And we went to a very elegant.
Speaker A:They got the tallest restaurant where you look over the entire country.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker A:Where you.
Speaker A:It's beautiful.
Speaker A:They had a little potato.
Speaker B:It's the richest country.
Speaker A:It's 100 and something.
Speaker A:200 Islands.
Speaker A:And your food, the potato bread with is.
Speaker A:Everything is this big and you done.
Speaker A:I was devastated.
Speaker A:For $200, you know, I was sick.
Speaker A:The pizza steak was this big.
Speaker B:Oh, I would have been hot.
Speaker B:Like that Ain't no.
Speaker B:I'm not even no bone in ribeye.
Speaker A:It was beautiful, though.
Speaker A:It was beautiful.
Speaker A:But I say this to say when I went to the museum.
Speaker A:They have futuristic.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:I can't explain.
Speaker A:You have to go.
Speaker A:They have futuristic animals.
Speaker A:It was.
Speaker A:No, I'm not even lying.
Speaker B:What you mean futuristic?
Speaker A:Listen.
Speaker A:So hold on.
Speaker B:Like, robotic?
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker B:Oh, okay.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker A:Like.
Speaker A:But it was.
Speaker A:If you walk by and seen it in glance, you would think it's a real dog with no fur and just made out of freaking electronics.
Speaker A:Like, it was so dope.
Speaker A:Google it.
Speaker A:It's like they bark, they can do tricks.
Speaker A:I couldn't believe it.
Speaker A:And then they put us in this futuristic room where it was a spaceship.
Speaker A:You really felt like a space.
Speaker A:Listen, hey.
Speaker A:The Dubai Shout out to Dubai.
Speaker A:If I ever get rich in my whole life and the whole wide world, I pray I do, I would definitely move to Dubai.
Speaker B:You ain't moving to Dubai.
Speaker B:You just talking about the food was horrible.
Speaker A:Well, I wanna be skinny.
Speaker A:So if I can lose some weight, I'll grow my own farm.
Speaker A:Cause I'm super.
Speaker B:Here we go.
Speaker B:Shout out to Khalees.
Speaker A:And let me tell you this.
Speaker B:She going crazy.
Speaker A:Very smart woman.
Speaker A:And I'm gonna tell you this.
Speaker A:First of all, Dubai.
Speaker A:You don't know wealth until you go to Dubai, okay?
Speaker A:I was sick because the people there were so wealthy and they reeked of it.
Speaker A:It's a.
Speaker A:When I tell you, listen, I said, they said that.
Speaker B:I remember this dude said, he was like, you could leave your whatever.
Speaker B:Like you leave your thing here.
Speaker A:They ain't stealing.
Speaker B:Ain't nobody gonna steal that.
Speaker A:No guns.
Speaker A:There's no violence like that in their Muslim country.
Speaker A:Let me tell you something.
Speaker A:I felt so safe.
Speaker A:I felt happy.
Speaker A:I wind up turning into one of them.
Speaker A:I bought the clothes when I was out there.
Speaker A:I was really in Dubai and I'm out there like, no, that is the most beautiful country.
Speaker A:Last year I traveled the world and Dubai was my favorite.
Speaker B:Oh, that's beautiful.
Speaker A:The only thing I didn't do was ride the camel.
Speaker A:I was scared to death.
Speaker A:With them animals.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:They big, huh?
Speaker A:And they stink.
Speaker B:I care.
Speaker A:They stink.
Speaker A:And I'm just scared.
Speaker A:They look at you.
Speaker B:You trying to be like old girl that went to Dubai and got.
Speaker A:Not pooped.
Speaker A:I ain't get sick.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Not the poop, though, girl.
Speaker B:The girl that went to Dubai and then she said she was trying to marry.
Speaker B:She was like, oh, I'm the princess.
Speaker B:I'm here to marry.
Speaker B:Find my prince.
Speaker A:I ain't seen that, but I definitely.
Speaker B:That's the lady blood.
Speaker B:She was hella.
Speaker B:You know, she was going around all around the world.
Speaker B:She went to Turkey.
Speaker B:She had the little thing.
Speaker B:Oh, man, I gotta get her.
Speaker A:She famous.
Speaker B:She was popular.
Speaker A:I don't know her.
Speaker B:Oh, man, I can't remember.
Speaker A:Well, she's smart.
Speaker A:Cause let me tell you, the most exotic people I've ever seen in my life.
Speaker A:Gorgeous.
Speaker A:The men, the women, the mamas, the daddies, the grandpas, Even the kids walk around with Chanel bags.
Speaker A:$10,000 Chanel bag, wow.
Speaker B:The kids made you just feel like, how did you feel?
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker A:Like I need to.
Speaker B:It's more to do.
Speaker B:It's more to do.
Speaker A:It's more than life.
Speaker A:To just.
Speaker A:United States of America.
Speaker A:God bless America.
Speaker B:But listen, it's the richest country in the world, right?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:But another thing, the food, I know it's a little nasty, but they don't have all the stuff that.
Speaker A:That we got all them preservatives.
Speaker A:Even Australia, when I went to Australia, if you look at a bag of chips here and then you can't pronounce or even understand what's in the bag, what's in there.
Speaker A:When you go to Australia to buy all these beautiful foreign countries, it's literally potato, Himalayan salt, vinegar, like, you know what I mean?
Speaker A:Ours got all this chemicals.
Speaker A:I mean, just all kind of stuff.
Speaker A:And then you think, why I feel like we dying in California?
Speaker A:We all got cancer.
Speaker A:Not we all.
Speaker A:Excuse me.
Speaker A:Because I ain't gonna get it.
Speaker A:I ain't got it.
Speaker A:We're not gonna praise the Lord, but, Lord, why Cancer is so high at its highest.
Speaker A:Diabetes is at his highest.
Speaker A:All the.
Speaker A:The issue.
Speaker A:Let's even get into it.
Speaker A:The mental health.
Speaker A:I think everybody.
Speaker B:All that.
Speaker A:All the health is high in California because you know what that stems from, I think?
Speaker A:Greed.
Speaker A:Money.
Speaker A:Everything is about money.
Speaker A:Like even how you said with Frankenstein.
Speaker A:How they knew.
Speaker A:Same with Kobe.
Speaker A:They knew.
Speaker A:Did you get your Kobe shot?
Speaker B:Hell, no.
Speaker A:My God.
Speaker A:Give me some.
Speaker B:Come on now.
Speaker A:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:That it was all a gimmick you.
Speaker A:I don't know if you've seen.
Speaker A:It was a movie.
Speaker A:It was a movie that talked about.
Speaker B:I want to see that.
Speaker B:I wanted to see.
Speaker A:You ain't seen it?
Speaker B:I ain't seen that.
Speaker A:You heard of it?
Speaker B:I know it's jumping, bro.
Speaker B:Is it like it start with a P or something like that?
Speaker A:Cannot remember.
Speaker B:But now I know what you talk about.
Speaker A:They said it before COVID hit that movie.
Speaker A:Blew my mind.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker A:Blew my mind.
Speaker A:It was different level.
Speaker A:And then it really made me.
Speaker A:Because, you know, I come from the health field.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:Where they were saying nurses.
Speaker A:You know, you had.
Speaker A:Remember we had to go through the line.
Speaker A:The people had to go through the line, give out all the COVID man.
Speaker A:They say that stuff was testing positive before people even took the swab.
Speaker B:Oh.
Speaker A:Cause you know they would swab and then put this the solution, man.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker B:So it's some foul stuff going on.
Speaker A:It was all over money.
Speaker A:It was greed.
Speaker A:It's just money to put to me to kill off the population.
Speaker A:Because everybody in the United States now they using Trump.
Speaker A:And I ain't into politics.
Speaker A:I don't care about none of that stuff.
Speaker A:But now I think they're using Trump and ISIS to get the population to lower.
Speaker A:Cause the money everything costs.
Speaker B:I mean, they say.
Speaker B:I mean, I'm not into politics.
Speaker A:Me neither.
Speaker B:Not at all.
Speaker B:But they talk about.
Speaker B:You ever seen that movie A Day Without a Mexican?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Let me get myself together.
Speaker B:I swear to God.
Speaker B:No, seriously.
Speaker B:Because we were talking about.
Speaker B:It was doing like when I was younger, in elementary school, shot of Sutro.
Speaker B:We did this in elementary.
Speaker B:Or is it either elementary or Roosevelt Middle School?
Speaker B:Don't matter.
Speaker B:But they talk about Day without a Mexican.
Speaker B:They talked about how many jobs that quote unquote, immigrants or illegal aliens do that help the economy out.
Speaker B:So they were talking about, like, if you take that 10 to 20 million people away, is you going to work.
Speaker A:At McDonald's and flip fries?
Speaker B:I don't have to do that.

Speaker A:That broke the ice.
Speaker A:I went everywhere.
Speaker B:Can I ask you a question?
Speaker B:Why do you go out the country by yourself?
Speaker B:I just want to know.

Speaker A:Nobody had the time and money to go with me.
Speaker B:Oh, okay.
Speaker A:You feel me?
Speaker A:A lot of my friends work.

Speaker A:And I didn't mind doing.
Speaker A:And I ain't gonna lie.
Speaker A:You know, bro.
Speaker A:You know, as Leos, we're impulsive.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's true.

Speaker B:We just gonna.
Speaker B:We gonna be.
Speaker B:It's gonna be like this.
Speaker B:We gonna start off talking about whatever, and then we gonna end up talking about tacos and chicken.
Speaker A:I didn't.
Speaker A:In energy.
Speaker A:Cause I didn't like.
Speaker B:That's how I do it.
Speaker B:I swear.
Speaker B:They like.
Speaker B:They be coming in with agendas and I stick to that kind of.

Speaker A:Literally.
Speaker A:We just met.
Speaker A:I called him on the phone with Chef Uwee.
Speaker A:We talked probably four minutes.
Speaker A:I met him.
Speaker A:What was that?

Speaker A:I can't be Oprah.
Speaker A:The richest.
Speaker B:Oprah, Oprah.
Speaker A:I don't care about the greatest.
Speaker A:Let me be the richest.
Speaker B:But see, Wendy Williams came from radio.
Speaker B:But Wendy Williams, Oprah did too.
Speaker A:And always in some drama and people want to beat her up like P. Diddy and them.
Speaker B:But her production of that drama was excellent.
Speaker A:But I still have that production with no drama.
Speaker B:You watch Newsnight with Abby Phillip.
Speaker A:I don't know who that is.
Speaker B:So she has a great production.
Speaker A:So she likes when you gotta watch.
Speaker B:So watch CNN from 5 until 8 o' clock to 9 o'.
Speaker B:Clock.
Speaker B:You see all the different people and they get to showcase their personality.
Speaker B:You get to showcase like each different set and style.
Speaker B:I'm into like the production of how people are doing it.

Speaker B:Cause, like, one thing that I found out, that you can't do nothing without a team.
Speaker A:You cannot.
Speaker B:Because you can only do so much.
Speaker B:Like, I gotta act.
Speaker B:Cause I got.
Speaker B:Like I said, I shouted out, E. McGee.
Speaker B:She's my photographer, dude, director of photography.
Speaker B:And I got my editor, a young Aztec.
Speaker B:And he also does photography.
Speaker B:And we're like our own little hub.
Speaker B:And so, like, we bounce ideas.
Speaker B:Who can we get?
Speaker B:Who can we get as guests?
Speaker B:Even from monetizing it, like, you know,.
Speaker A:That's my next move, is monetizing my followers and stuff like that.
Speaker A:That's what I'm doing.
Speaker B:From all that stuff, you know, we need to talk.
Speaker A:Maybe you can help me with that because I'm new to that part of it.
Speaker A:You know, I got my production, I got all that stuff.
Speaker A:But now it's, you know, my following going up.
Speaker A:My guests got amazing guests.
